Reporting to: Coordenador de Produção
Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate processes related to the mining and beneficiation of phosphate rock, focusing on:
- Planning and controlling mineral production;
- Supervising open-pit mining activities;
- Knowledge of structures (quarries, stockpiles, dams);
- Optimizing the beneficiation process of phosphate rock;
- Monitoring ore quality and controlling losses;
- Coordinating with logistics for raw material and final product movement.
Integrated Management System (SIG):
- Perform activities according to SIG principles, ensuring compliance with:
- Process and product quality standards;
- Work safety and occupational health requirements;
- Environmental guidelines applicable to mining and beneficiation.
Strategic Support:
- Assist coordinators and managers in operational decision-making;
- Contribute to meeting production, cost, and efficiency goals;
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and technical training of teams;
- Ensure compliance with current mineral and environmental legislation.
Qualifications:
- Complete higher education in Mining Engineering (preferably), Civil, Production, or related fields;
- Knowledge and operation of phosphate beneficiation systems, including crushing, grinding, stockpiles, flotation, desliming, thickeners, and slurry pipelines.
Work Schedule:
- Shift work in a 4x4 rotation.
