At Inscale (Permanent), in Lisbon, PortugalExpires at: 2025-08-23Remote policy: Partial remoteINSCALE on behalf of JYSK is looking to hire a dedicated Dev Ex Engineer to improve the CI/CD workflows, automate processes and build the tooling and infrastructure with industry’s best practices to optimize our software delivery pipeline. As a Dev Ex, you will contribute to the ongoing development of JYSK’s cross-channel e-commerce platform. You will play a key role in platform development, technical support, and guiding your team on complex tasks. Your work will directly impact the performance and scalability of services used in over 30 countries. The Dev Ex team is building tools, processes and communities to make it easy to develop software the way JYSK wants to develop software.As a Dev Ex Engineer, you are responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting tools, workflows, and building blocks that make it easier to develop software according to JYSK's standards.You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, working with newer technology, frameworks, and platforms to drive impactful solutions and elevate systems and processes, including:Take technical ownership of systems, technology, or application areas, driving solution designs and mentoring colleagues.Participate in project breakdowns, platform development, and Agile processes, influencing direction and ensuring effective collaboration.Maintain continuous personal and professional development, with responsibility for self-improvement and knowledge sharing.Platform Development / CapabilitiesDevelop advanced integrations and self-service tools to optimize system efficiency.Create, maintain, and support tooling to enhance all aspects of the SDLC.Support automated testing in the build pipeline.Drive the dialogue of relentless improvement of the Dev Ex product with their customers.Assist with migrating legacy platforms to cloud-based solutions.Enhance CI/CD pipeline standardization and enable faster deployments.Provide principles, practical guidelines, and training to developers and other stakeholders.Platform OwnershipOwn key platform components, ensuring stability, security, documentation, support, and a roadmap for continuous improvements.Communicate with developers to better understand their needs for the platform we are building.Technical SupportProvide troubleshooting and support to other teams for platform-related issues.MVP MindsetDeliver small, iterative, and robust solutions with a focus on developer experience and continuous delivery.Education and Knowledge SharingStay updated on technology trends, share knowledge within teams, and participate in relevant training and networks.Promote Git Ops practices and actively contribute to workshops, hackathons, and learning sessions.Resource PlanningProactively communicate timelines and plan tasks in alignment with team priorities.Main requirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.or Relevant years of experience in the required skills.Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Argo Workflows/CD, and Flux.Proven programming experience in Java,.
